HATSUHIRO MASAKI / YOSHO

Tenchi's grandfather, Hatsuhiro has a hidden past with a surprising connection to the Jurai royal family - he is actually Aeka's long-lost half-brother, Yosho! He manages a shrine near the house and sometimes trains Tenchi in martial arts.

NOBUYUKI MASAKI

Nobuyuki is an architect who has a healthy (almost too healthy) appreciation for the girls that Tenchi has attracted to their home. However, he loved Tenchi's mother very much, as evidenced in the 1st movie and the 2nd TV series.

RYO-OH-KI

Ryo-oh-ki is the cute mascot of Tenchi Muyo - a hybrid cat and rabbit who happens to transform into a powerful spaceship! She's usually seen around Ryoko or Washu. Later she grows up a little and takes on a more human form, but still can't speak.

TSUNAMI

Tsunami has a special bond with Sasami in each Tenchi Muyo universe, although the exact nature of their relationship may differ slightly. In the OAVs, she is the life force of the most powerful ship of Jurai, but in the TV series, she is Sasami's adult form.

ACHIKA

Although she passed away when Tenchi was very young, Achika makes her appearance in the 1st movie. She is brave and beautiful, willing to sacrifice her life to save her future son's. With her incredible powers, she has the ability to call up the legendary Light-Hawk wings.

MAYUKA

Mayuka is the stranger that appears in the 2nd movie and claiming Tenchi is her father. She is sweet but a little odd, and is actually part of a plan to take revenge on Yosho.

SAKUYA

A new character in the 2nd TV series, Sakuya is Tenchi's cute classmate - she's popular, smart, energetic, and she confesses to Tenchi that she likes him! They enter a hesitant relationship that Ryoko and Aeka are not happy about! However, Sakuya's true identity is revealed, and Tenchi must defuse yet another threat to the world.
