Also known as Ah! Megamisama, this classic anime series came from Japan years ago, and since then has spawned a whole line of manga, several videos, numerous CD soundtracks, novelties, and just recently, a full-length feature film! Fans of Oh My Goddess! attest the show's popularity and staying power to its combination of wacky humor, fantasy, and romance, which gives all types of fans something to like. Besides, what's there not to like about a normal guy living at home with three gorgeous real-life Goddesses?
At the center of the attention is Keichi, your average student living in his own little apartment. One day, he feels hungry and decides to call out for pizza. Accidentally, he dials the "Goddess Helpline" and an actual, absolutely gorgeous Goddess named Belldandy appears before him. She is willing to grant him one wish, so in his enraptured state he wishes for her to stay with him. Having no choice, she stays with him and that's when the fun begins. Soon thereafter, Belldandy's sisters follow her from Asgard to Keichi's home. Sultry, older sister Urd and spunky younger sister Skuld provide lots of hilarious situations for the entire cast. Although comedic in nature, the heart of Oh! My Goddess is the growing romance between Keichi and Belldandy.
