MIYAZAWA YUKINO

She is a fiercely competitive student, pretending to be very nice to all her classmates, when in fact she thinks she is far superior to all of them. Her haughty attitude is changed when she meets Arima, whom she falls in love with. Cheerful in nature, she may seem like the perfect girl, but when she gets angry, everybody better watch out! Miyazawa is used to getting things her way, and she can be very uncooperative if she can't get it. She is both childish and impulsive on one hand, yet analytical and sensitive on the other.

ARIMA SOUICHIROU

The captain of the Kendo Club, Arima is a very dedicated student and kendo master. He practices very
hard at being the best student and setting a role model for other students to follow. He hides a
painful childhood, and as a result can be indifferent and anti-social at times. He has a sensitive
heart, and cares deeply that his closest friends don't leave him. That is why he can be rather jealous
at times when Miyazawa talks to other boys. Arima's best, and really, only friend is Asaba, who is
the complete opposite of him. Arima prefers to be left alone in quiet places while Asaba can't
live without partying and courting the ladies.

ASABA HIDEAKI

The life of any party, Asaba is indeed the best friend of the moody Arima. He believes that he is the best looking in the entire school, and Arima is his only real counterpart. At first, Asaba wanted to use Arima to attract more girls, whom he refers to as "sheep" to build his Asaba Merryland, something better seen in the series than explained. Extremely vain to a ludicrous degree, Asaba always takes any opportunity to show off either his golden, tanned body or his charming demeanor. Despite his goofiness, Asaba proves to be a trustworthy friend and confidant of both Arima and Miyazawa. Now, if he would only study harder, and not be stuck in the lower class!

TSUBASA

Don't be fooled by Tsubasa's cute face, she can be your worst enemy if you get on her bad side. Tsubasa is very sensitive of two things: her age and her height. Although 14 years old and already in high school, she is mistaken to be much younger and in elementary school. When angered, Tsubasa can turn into a little devil; kicking cars, biting fingers, burning photos, destroying a restaurant are but only a few acts she has caused when angered. She was also in love with Arima before, but he only treated her like a little sister. Now, with Miyazawa owning Arima's heart, what will little Tsubasa do?
