STORY Universal Century Alterate Universes

The story of Gundam is told in one continuous timeline and a few alternate universes. Here we will give brief synopses for each Gundam series, from the original Mobile Suit Gundam to Turn A Gundam. All summaries are by Bandai Entertainment.
Mobile Suit Gundam The Duchy of Zeon invents a gigantic human-shaped weapon called the Mobile Suit (MS) and begins its war for independence against the Federated Union of Earth. The story depicts the life of young boys and girls in the war, focusing on the young protagonist Amuro Ray. Amuro becomes the first pilot of the Gundam, a prototype MS developed by Federation Forces. Through his battles against the ace pilot Char Aznable, and the bitter trials of the war, he becomes aware of his uniqueness as a NewType. TV series - 43 episodes
Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team Federation Lieutenant Shiro Amada is transferred from the Space Unit to the Ground Unit, where he ends up leading the 08th MS Team, a troubled group consisting of a bunch of misfits and rogues. The Zeon Secret Weapon Development Unit has a base close to where the 08th MS Team is stationed. A female pilot, Aina Saharin, is the test pilot of this threatening secret. She and Shiro have met before, when they were both adrift alone in space. OAV series - 13 episodes
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket A young lieutenant of the Zeon's special unit, Bernie secretly enters the neutral Space Colony 6, where he meets Al. He and the innocent boy become friends. Bernie also becomes attracted the Al's neighbor, the beautiful Chris. But Chris is in fact the female test pilot of the latest Gundam, which is exactly what Bernie's unit is trying to destroy. Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory Three years after the end of the war between the Duchy of Zeon and the Federation Forces, a group called Delaz Fleet is formed by survivors of the Zeon army with the goal of rebuilding Zeon. Its ace pilot, Major Anavel Gato, steals the Gundam GP02, a nuclear-equipped model in development by the Federation. Lieutenant Kou Uraki pilots the Gundam GP01, the only one left, in an attempt to stop him. Operation Stardust, the plan of the Delaz Fleet, is so ambitious and on such a large scale that it threatens the Federation. OAV series - 13 episodes
Mobile Suit Z Gundam This story chronicles the battle between the Titans, an elite troop of Federation Forces who are obsessed with ruling Earth, and the AEUG, an organization dedicated to preserving the rights of those living in space (sometimes called Spacenoids). Camille Vidan, whose parents were killed by the Titans, becomes the pilot of the latest MS, the Zeta Gundam, and throws himself into the war. A third group known as Axis, consisting of the survivors of the Duchy of Zeon, becomes involved in their battles. TV series - 50 episodes
Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ After winning the war, Axis changes its name to Neo Zeon and plots to conquer the Earth. The young Judo Ashita joins the defeated AEUG and shows unprecedented talent as the pilot of the ZZ Gundam. The AEUG forms the Gundam Team to defend itself from Neo Zeon's attacks. TV series - 46 episodes
Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack Char Aznable is now the general of Neo Zeon. He regards those who still live on Earth as the cause of all the battles, and plots to drop the asteroid Axis on the Earth. In order to stop Char, Amuro leads the troops of Lond Bell with his Gundam. The fate of the Earth and all its inhabitants are at stake, and the time has come to conclude the years of feuding between Auro and Char. Movie
Mobile Suit Gundam F-91 To build Cosmo Babylonia, a space nation ruled by aristocrats, Crossbone Vanguard, the private army of Rohah's, attacks Space Colony Frontier Side. When his peaceful homeland is destroyed, high school student Seabrook Arno pilots the latest model of Gundam, the Gundam F-91, and joins the resistance. Movie
Mobile Suit V Gundam Space Colony Side 2 calls itself the Zanscare Empire and begins conquering Earth territory. The League Militaire resists their onslaught and builds the V Gundam to help them fight. As pilot of V Gundam, fifteen-year-old Usso Evin becomes embroiled in the fight to save his world.
