TAKA SUKANAMI

Taka is a college classmate of Keisuke's and the reincarnation of Tamahome. Although he and Miaka are happy together, a new evil appears and he must revive his powers again. He travels with her to the world in the Book of Four Gods and gradually regains his memory of being Tamahome.

TENKOU

Tenkou is the mysterious Majin, or demon god, that Nakago worships. He is distinguised by his long white hair and magenta aura. Once a prince in ancient Japan, he was corrupted by evil and became power-hungry. After his death, his vengeful spirit was sealed away, but his servant, the Shitennou, plot to resurrect him.

An new student at Miaka's schoo, Ren is very popular, becoming class president within weeks. He is actually Renhou, a servant of Tenkou, and possesses strong telekinetic and mind-control powers. He and his sister were saved from persecution by Tenkou, and offered evil power in exchange for their souls.

Another classmate of Miaka's, Miiru is really Ren's sister and also serves Tenkou. She has the power to possess people and drinks their blood for use in controlling spells. She and her brother were saved from persecution by Tenkou, and offered evil power in exchange for their souls.

HIKOU

Chichiri's old friend from the past, Hikou has the power to draw out a person's subconscious through a special type of water. He was once in love with Chichiri's fiance, but during a bitter fight over her, he died and was possessed by Tenkou. He comes back seeking revenge.

YOSUI

|
The last of the Shitennou, Yosui attacks with strings capable of piercing flesh. His uncanny resemblance to Tamahome, both in his appearance and his other powers, misleads Miaka and the Seishi until a shocking sacrifice and a stunning revelation exposes his true self.
