BULMA BRIEFS

Smart and spunky, Bulma grows up with Goku throughout the entire series and acts like a big sister to him. She is the only heir to the Capsule Corporation and has a knack for inventing things, like the Dragon Radar, which locates dragonballs.

GOTEN
|
|
|
Goku's second son, Goten bears an uncanny resemblance to his father when he was young, in both fighting abilities and naivete. He and Trunks are close friends, and can fuse together to become Gotenks, one of the most powerful characters in the series.

CHI CHI |
Goku's tempermental wife, Chi Chi is also the very protective mother of Gohan and Goten. She appears first in Dragonball, often seen wearing a horned helmet and a skimpy battle costume.

MUTEN ROSHI

Also known as Kamesennin, Muten Roshi is Goku's first trainer and is the founder of the "Kamehameha" technique. Like many other old men in anime, he's quite the pervert and is always eyeing young women. He's often seen wearing sunglasses and a large turtle shell on his back.

YAJIROBE
|
The only member of the DBZ team that doesn't fight, Yajirobe can be found on the sidelines stuffing his face. He does prove his worth occasionally though, such as his heroic act during the battle against Vejita.

|
CHAOZU
|
|
This silly-looking little guy is Tenshinhan's best friend and although he isn't a bad fighter himself, he's left out of a lot of the action in DBZ.

ANDROID #16
|
Created by Dr. Gero for the sole purpose of killing Goku, this android refused to hurt anyone else. He becomes good friends with Gohan, but Dr. Gero decides to scrap his "defective" cyborg.

ANDROIDS #17 & #18
|
|
This brother-sister pair of Artifical Humans was also created by Dr. Gero to kill Goku. Although they were villains at first, they join up with the Z fighters against Cell. After Cell's defeat, #18 marries Kuririn and they have a daughter, Maron.

MR. SATAN
|
A comic character, Mr. Satan is a pro-wrestler and self-proclaimed "hero of Earth," taking credit for having
killed Cell and saving the planet. Perhaps it's because he's a chicken, but he's actually one of the only characters in the Dragon Ball series who has never died.

VIDEL
|
|
Mr. Satan's daughter, Videl is Gohan's high school classmate. She discovers his secret
identity as the "Great Saiyaman." Eventually she and Gohan get married and have a daughter, Pan.

|
PAN
|
|
Pan is Gohan and Videl's daughter and although she appears at the end of the manga, she's a fairly major character in Dragonball GT. She looks like her mother at 16, just a lot smaller. She's pretty tough in a fight for her age and size, and proves her potential in DBGT.

SHENLONG
|
|
This legendary dragon appears when all seven dragonballs are gathered. He can grant any two wishes, from giving Oolong a pair of panties to resurrecting the dead.
